Nicholas Jerry "Nick" Jonas (born September 16, 1992) is an American singer-songwriter, musician and actor best known as one of the Jonas Brothers, a pop-rock band he formed with his brothers Joe and Kevin. The Jonas Brothers originally started as an attempted solo singing career for Nick, but the record producer liked the sound when his brothers sang backup for him. He has also formed the band Nick Jonas & The Administration.

Nick Jonas & The Administration is a band formed as a side project by Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. Performers include singer, pianist, guitarist, drummer and songwriter Nick Jonas, bassist John Fields, drummer Michael Bland, keyboardist Tommy Barbarella, and guitarist David Ryan Harris. Sonny Thompson replaced David Ryan Harris during the 2010 tour. The group was named after Nick Jonas' interest in the presidency.
